About us

Immortale comes from Sardinia, the island of longevity. It is one of the world's five Blue Zones, the place with the highest concentration of centenarians, and Cannonau is the wine its communities have always brought to the table. That is where our name comes from.

We make it in Gallura, in the northeast of the island, where Cannonau meets granite, wind and the wide temperature swings that give it structure.

The project belongs to two partners and rests on one decision: make little wine and make it wait. Six months fermenting in steel, three and a half years in oak barriques, two years resting in bottle. Six years before a bottle goes on sale, at a time when the market asks for one.

The blend is by Angelo Angioi, among the most recognised winemakers working in Sardinia.

The first vintage was released in 2,280 units. Every vintage of Immortale exists once: when it is gone, we move to the next.
